I bought a sled from him a year and ahalf ago and the Vin on the reg is unreadable I need a new reg duplicate. I will compansate him dearly. Anybody know of him or his cell / house # ? I'm in NY and don't know what 2 do. thanks guys his old cell is disconected

it's not stolen i have the reg its just faded from 2 years old. if i use a magnifier i can c it. i'm gona bring it 2 the dmv with the magnifier glass n c what happen

Just a thought can you read the vin off the sled and fill in the faded #s on the reg, NH regs are hand written and I have had to darken faded #s many times over the years also do you have a bill of sale to back up the reg if not the back of the reg is your bill of sale

I have bolth!! I just took the reg 2 a coppier and scaned it darker and the vin in now readable. So tom when I go 2 the dmv I shouldn't have a problem. they can look at bolth and c they are the same just 1 is darker. I also took a pencil and etched the vin in the bill of sale. i should b good knock on wood

Its a NY thing. Its a PIA to reg a sled in NY you cant just walk in with a vin# a lisence like you can in NH.

Same in VT Denny, not all of use can be as cool as ya'll in NH

(This is why I reg in NH first, then reg in VT as a non-resident as I have a NH reg)
