Hi there, I have an '06 mini z that idles fine but dies when you depress the throttle. Although it will accelerate when the choke is on. I have cleaned the carb. 3 times. The float and needle valve work fine. The fuel filter is good and lays flat in the tank. The main jet, nozzle, and pilot jet are all clean. Turned out fuel mixture 2 1/2 turns but didn't make a difference. Spark plug is good and oil has been changed. Going to soak the carb in lacquer thinner tonight to see if that does it. Don't know what else would make it act like it is starving for gas when you want to accelerate. Does anybody have any other ideas? Any info would be helpful, thanks.
Have you checked the vent for the tank. Ive had troubles when this tube freezes solid from moisture, or just crud ... Hope this is your quick fix
