I am in college, sled is over 200 miles away from me right now, That is the only pic I have. It has 96 studs, few bent, C&A's and the track is in mint shape. I have no idea what I want to sell it for, reallly just looking for an XRS or xp. If you want to make a cash offer PM me. If I do happen to trade I most likely will want to keep the panels, hood, console.

Is it possible to come look at the sled? where it is located? Would you be interested in trading for a 2006 Yamaha R6for the sled and some cash?

so whats the difference between a REV 440 and a XP or XRS.... all aggressive sleds if you ask me, kid, I think you really need a 550 fan... I have just what your looking for.... pm me if you want to work out a trade deal, you can keep all those plastics too... they are ugly anyways

Many differences, From my understanding the shocks are much stiffer, the chassis is much stiffer and therefore it rides much harsher. The xrs under my impression is a glorified X package while the XP is a total different chassis. Ive seen some of your posts and you do nothing but bad mouth people. Please do not litter this ad.

I agree though, they look like trail shocks that are upside down. How are you getting the ressi all the way up to the inside of the sled from there?

Well this thread is uselss now...thankyou all. if you have no interest in the sled do no post.
FYI the front shocks are walker evans and they're not backwards.
MR.EXTREME, the ressis go right through the notch in the plastic, you should know, you traded a pair of c-46 race shocks for consumer non rebuildable shocks last season if I remember correctly right off of your 440. Then you sold it and it blew up on his first ride.

I also got $200 on top of the shocks. The shocks on your sled look like they are upside down, and have no ressis. Last time I checked, the pressure is kept in the ressi and body of the shock, not in the shaft, ( from the clutch side pic, the shock looks upside down with no ressi ). I sold it to him, and he claimed it had LOW COMPRESSION. I tested it multiple times, even on the day me and him traded. 125psi in each cylinder, which is what I told him.
You realize 440's aren't worth anything, and people usually trade sleds that are older for newer race sleds, right? So if someone was trading an 07 Rev 800, they would be trading it for an 08 600 RS or something along those lines, not an 05' 440.

just curious why your buddy changed the shocks out? In my opinion the walker evans are no upgrade to the stock shocks on the rev 440s.... and I dont badmouth people at all, just give them realistic numbers so I dont have to see the same sled getting bumped up for 40 pages because the price is too high... kinda like this sled was priced to high when your buddy was selling it... now 2 people have asked you for a dollar amount to sell, your either thinking your going to catch a screaming deal on a newer sled trade??? or you paid way to much and dont want to put the dollar amount up because your "good friend" just made a few bucks on ya and you dont want to look foolish... you tell us. if you want to sell it and upgrade post a price already.... I just state the obvious.

Well put! This sled has been up here for a little while now and he has made no move to try and get rid of it. I dont understand why anyone with an XRS or Xp would wanna trade for a rev 440? Maybe youll win the lottery and someone outta no where would end up buying it but for now try to get a buck outta it and buy something more or ride the thing!
I also am curious why the shocks were switched. Dont understand that move and why the price the was always kickin so high.

Yeah sled is no longer for sale. I ran into a deal I couldnt refuse on a 600 sdi w/tank this weekend. So that mostly likely will be getting swapped in or used as a backup in the future. And all shocks are on their way to Ian to get rebuilt.
Thanks for the space EVERYBODY!

Well it shows how much some people on this site actually know. SEARCH BEFORE YOU POST! The XRS chassis is a consumer chassis, this has been debated many times and I am not here to debate it. It has almost none of the 440 braces and the tunnel is strictly a consumer chassis. The race sled chassis has many more braces, and a thicker tunnel PERIOD. If you race snowcross or hit ramps a XRS will not hold up very long compared to the real thing.
As far as the shocks go I sold the originals and put these on if you must know. And I actually liked them better becuase of the dual rate springs, and NO they are not on backwards.
John, just sell that sdi motor to get some $$ and ride that baby, She's dialed in, nothing you dont know already.

thanks smart guy, the xrs was only made in 07 and 2010. The xp is the race chassis, if your "GOOD FRIEND" had a clue, this post would have never started, nobody wants to trade a 5 or 6 thousand dollar sled for a 3000 dollar sled at most in an even trade. But if your soo smart, why didnt you tell him that genius? I was just asking questions, I know the difference, checking to see if he did too....PERIOD

i'm not so sure that he was tryin to straight up trade for an xrs or xp of any kind. i'm sure he was planning on adding cash to the deal. you never know what some people will do, i had one guy last year that was looking for a 440/800 and he was on an 08 rs. sometimes people are looking to get soome cash but stay riding or they like the rev over the xp.
