I will be staying for a week up in Fayette and was wanting to know wat trails to take to get to Rangeley and about how long it would take. I've been trying to find some trail maps, and it looks like ITS 115-ITS 82- ITS 89 which will lead me into Rangeley? thanks!!

Coming from Fayette once you hit the Jay area you'll pick up the old narrow gage railroad bed and you can make some time up to Farmington then around town it'll be a bit rough usually once your out of town 89 will open up again then when you hit the Avon area you'll probably want to fuel up-Farmington to Avon is the halfway point give or take a few miles- after that its some SWEET beautiful riding, trails are nice and the scenery is awesome right up into Rangeley. Wilton/Farmington area to Rangeley is roughly a 70ish mile ride. Bring a camera its worth the hassle.

Just don't forget to shut the sled off while you're being a shutterbug.
(sorry, couldn't resist)

LMFAO - I haven't forgotten, don't have the T-shirt but got the photo -lol- I even made mention about it in a round about way when somebody a few days back made comment that he didn't need anyone in a group to babysit him and wait if he was lagging. Of course that was prior to me waking up and getting rid of one of those darn Cats and getting the Gade, so see sometimes ignorance does pay.
