summits good up behind the tit we went two weekends ago it was deep warm and sunny best ive seen but unfortunately down low there's alot of brush showing and it better snow soon pretty poor snowfall this season and arctic man wont be much fun but theres still 4 months to go. gonna go again this weekend hopefully

ID Have you gotten to the top of Sleeping Lady yet this year? Or in the foothills and drainages?

Nope, Big Lake has had so little snow I haven't even ridden more then a 1/4 mile out of the lake. I hear there's more snow now and a lot mot the closer to the river you get.

But after the Iron Dog start on the 21st the trail will be beat to hell.

With the Avy conditions, decided to check out Sleeping Lady. Thought the snow was going to be melted or windblow but was very surprised. Turned out to be a blue bird day about 30 degrees with about a foot of fresh on top of a good base.

Looks like you hit gold. Those swamps and treed areas always hold some good snow.
