I am looking to join a club to meet new people to ride with so I went to the internet and found that there are a ton of clubs in N. IL. I am looking for any input on which club would best fit. Almost all of the people I ride with have sold their sleds and now only do 1 trip/year and just rent. I love the sport and want to stay with it.

I was going to join a club, but I moved to Franklin Park. I used to live in Johnsburg. Going to meetings every other week won't cut it for me. I ride in Mchenry county anytime it snows, but will be venturing out to Rockford, Racine, and the Dells areas this year more. My wife rides too but kinda slow. LOL. Met a guy from Crystal Lake that I've been riding with the past year. If you wanna ride sometime hit me up.

I would like to join a club also. I was going to join the club in Elburn (I live in North Aurora) but I can never make the meetings. It seems like I'm working or have a family thing going. I have spoke to one member and it seems like I have to go to a meeting to join. But I like MXZ 900 want to join to find out more info about local riding, and southern WI riding for day trips ect.
Also I don't want to get involved with a group of people that just sit and grip about everyone else ect.
Anyway, there are several clubs, but I don't know too much about them. Hopefully someone here is a member of a club somewhere and can tell us more about them.

I was honestly surprised at how many clubs I found in the N. IL area by searching the net. Hoping to get some feedback from current and prior members of a few to help identify the one that seems like the best fit. Assuming meetings are not too early during the weekday's I would actually look forward to attending so I can meet more local riders and stay in touch with what the club is involved with. Again, I am looking for a club with some "energy".
Mike - I will hit you up when the snow finally flies. My email is mxz900@comcast.net
