okay, i was just going to say if it is not picked you have to be careful what c&a's you get. i don't think you can go wrong either way. c&a skis are agrressive, bit like hell on the trails. the slydogs are great, i like them better personally, not as aggressive on trail but i think they float better off trail. i think c&a's mounting system sucks, slydogs is easier if you ask me. now the 6.9's are nice, have not run them, but i know guys who do. i prefer aftermarket to stock, just my 2 cents.

Ran C&A's, a few different models and didn't care for any of them they were way too stiff for my liking and gave to much trail feedback. Last year I ran a set of SLP Powder Pro's and was really surprised at how much easier on me they were then the C&A's but it took quite a bit of suspension fiddling till I got things set up correct to take full advantage of them and then they cornered excellent on the trails and floated great in the powder all with minimal effort. This year I just ordered a set of Slydog Powder Hounds for my 800 Gade, I rode a friends sled last year that had a pair on it and was impressed, but have no idea as to how much of a PITA it will be to set the sled up to get the full advantage of them. I DOO have friends that run the 6.9's and swear by them. I guess its all what your looking to get out of your ski's BUT the one thing I do know is you have to have a proper balance - Studs to carbide length and then suspension setup, take the time and change ONE thing at a time on your suspension till you get that SWEET spot where they work best for your style&setup. Luck to you.

The stock skis on the 'Gade are fine if you are goiong to just trail ride... get off trail however & that's a whole 'nuther sermon.

I personally use the 6.9 Pilots... but the SLP Powder Pro or Slydog Powderhound are also very popular choices for an off-trailing 'Gade.

The nice thing about the 6.9s is that you can drill for & mount the 2nd carbide if you want... which works well for some of the icy later-season conditions we get around here.

I put a set of CA ADX on my 07 gade. Night and Day difference from the Pilots. Not sure how I even rode the sled with the pilots.
First thing I'm doing to my 2010 gade when it arrives is put on some CAs.
