I found the post regarding the medium windshield for the 1200's - but the part numbers arent jiving compared to what i have found. I have the 2010 mxzx 1200 shorty, and i want the med windshield with the side wind deflectors and mirrors. i know the windshield base needs to change to accomodate - does anyone have the correct part numbers that will fit? The gsx has a different headlight pod which means a different windshield base is need to match the one i have. Help, i'm cold already!!!! thx

As stated in the post....
......you need to get the STOCK windshield for a "Renegade Adrenaline" (see your dealer,these are not an "accessory" )unless you want a really tall one....then refer to accessory catalog.

no its the one from the GSX (page 9 - i think...or 19) in the 2010 SKIDOO accessory catalogue. The page has a white GSX taking up the full page...i told them to order me that exact one. We do alot of long trips way north....sometimes into the -40's in the mornings......can be a bit nippy!! lol...i have ALL the part numbers for this (it took a couple order attempts to achieve - but its all done now)...if anyone wants the numbers, let me know....you can match them up for your own sled. thx

Did your hand guards interfere with the tall shield? Would you just post the numbers?

That shield looks taller than the adrenaline ...........

side deflectors: 517303799, 517303800 (left and right)rubber grommets for the deflectors: 517303756 (x4)mirror PACK: 860200083 (both mirrors in same pack)windshield:517303797windshield support brace: 517303798 and two small screws/washers (no part number) that screw the deflector to the windshield.

apparently there is a "kit" for the deflectors/mirrors.....so i mite have done this the long way around. Regardless, it all worked, but there is a template needed, for drilling 4 holes in the pod (for the deflectors to fit into)....a SD dealer was kind enuff to photocopy it for me, cuz mine didnt have one in the box. You're kinda screwd without it....at least "I" dont want to drill holes without knowing they are perfect. lol

and yeah...i took the hand guards off...they would hit on hard turn ins. This windshield combo is pretty good at wind deflection i think...warmer than the last few sleds i've had anyway! good luck....it takes 2 beers to install BTW
