Greetings...

Not sure if this is the best place for this post, but here goes... does anyone know of any utility sled boneyards? I'm looking for some body parts (console and deflector - the parts that go over the engine and between the seat and "dash") for a '95 Alpine II ... and of course parts are discountined for them these days.... I suspect a lot of us with older utility sleds are in the same boat (thankfully I've had pretty good luck finding parts for my Alpine I's.)

Thank you for any ideas! I've long enjoyed reading this forum and lurking ... lots of knowledge and nice folks here it seems.

Eek, don't know if you're going to have much luck finding Alpine II parts here... however there was one guy on here a few weeks ago who posted w/pics where he purchased 4 Alpine II's in a lot, not sure if all of them were salvageable, you may be able to get a few parts from him.

You might try Gary's in Independence, Iowa. He has alot of old Ski-Doo parts. Ask for Aaron, tell him Lynn sent you. His number is 319-334-3731. I don't know if he has anything that old, but he might.

Thank you for the ideas -I sent 'alpinetoo' a PM just in case. My '95 isn't as nice has his, but it has brand new tracks and lots of spares (including a hood). I've helped Doug out a few times (skidooalpine.com), and I'll give the the Iowa shop a call tomorrow - thanks!!

I find it funny that a '95 is considered old smile.gif but I'm use to that from the comments I get on my "antiques" (the '79 and '86 Alpines).

It's too bad they don't make many new twin track utility sleds (the Sherpa is the only I know of), though the new Skandics and VKPros are certainly nice machines... and the tracked ATVs may be even better for work (not distance, just pulling power).

Thank you all for such quick responses.
