Who has used this track and what is your impression?
LabradorBoy mentioned last January that he knew of someone using this track on a VK Pro. I am wondering if anyone has done a comparison between this track and a standard 1.25 inch track?
Any input will be appreciated.

We are running it on a 2006 VK Pro at our local snowmobile club; it's called the Kimpex Excavator and we have installed it with a set of Wahl Bros extrovert drivers so that we can run the track a little looser. It's a track that gives great traction in loose snow, but it uses a very soft compound and I am a little concerned about it's longevity compared to the very hard compound Camoplast 20x156x1.25 RipSaw that came off of it.
However, the sled has about 3000km's on the track and it appears to be holding up very well so far.

Thank you for the response and all of the great input you have made in the past on this forum.
The soft compound should not be an issue with my application because the majority of my riding is in soft pack and/or powder. Not much hard pack and/or icing in high mountains of Colorado.
I am also looking at running Wahle sprockets (drivers), but will be reducing sprocket teeth from 8 to 7 which will increase clearance with front cooler and slight reduction in gearing. Not worried about possible reduction of top speed; (1) not many places to run top speed, and (2) already have major reduction in power because 100% of my riding is above 9,000ft elevation. I will have to machine off the teeth of the two center half sprockets and retain the teeth on the two outer full sprockets.
