I am lookin into gettin 4 tundras. All of them are 97's. Two are running(rebuilt last year I am told) and 2 are complete but missing the odd parts like recoil and what not. And are considered parts sleds. The guy is asking $2500 for all 4. This is cad $ keep in mind. I rarely see what tundras sell for so just looking for some input as to what they are worth give or take. They are average condition. Been outside quite a bit. Seems like a good deal but just checking.

Around here , a decent Tundra priced in the 8 - 1200 dollar range won't last a day ! Of course "running , rebuilt last year" doesn't say these are "sound" .These sleds are a little more common where you are and the price might not be as attractive . I would sure look hard at the track and the chassis to see if these have been abused , but if you can get 2 good Tundras out of the deal , you can probably sell enough spares off of 1 or 2 of the parts sleds to make it a pretty sweet deal for yourself .

Ya I am going to see these sleds tonight. Judging by the pictures they are not in mint condition. They have been outside all the time by the looks of it. Just was lookin to see what some average to below average sleds are worth.
Thanks for the info.

Bring 2K cash and buy them. I'll buy an engine, muffler, track and suspension off one to help you off set the costs. Email me at Lshobie@yahoo.com

I am serious - I need the parts.

These are all "Tundra II's" with the strut front end. Any with RER? That could make them very valuable in the parts resale world as well.

An average Tundra will net you $1k. I have a mint 2005 w/RER that I am going to sell for about $2k - and by mint I mean MINT - I will have another soon in OK shape with RER that will sell for about $1400 at the height of the Fall, and that's with a brand new track. Without RER and in average shape, $1k is your benchmark, especially if the seat, tank, controls, gas cap, hood and windshield are sun faded. A replacement windshield - the usual obvious victim of outdoor storage - alone will run you $100, which is a big cost when looking at a $1k sled.

I agree with Lshobie, $2k cash and walk away with them. For what it's worth, I'll probably buy some parts off you as well.

Did you buy this? Just curious... could use a set of Tundra skis that aren't worn through.

Non RER harness and rear bumper for me biggrin.gif Probably more when I get into it !

Ya I got the tundras. 2 run and one looks pretty complete so may just need lil cleaning out and it should run. I have not had a chance to look at the other sleds as others are in the garage right now. I want to try and get a third running and then ill part out the 4th one. Tracks are all good and sleds are in decent shape. Seats all need work but they were in the shape I expected so I wasn't to worried. In about a month ill have them in the garage and see what I have for parts.
