I ordered an 08 first year of the xp an x model. What a POS I llove ski doo but this thing as far as durability was just junk. I went back to rev style for awhile till they get there durability issue on track

HaHa not tryin to burst your bubble at all. I ride hard I guess I should have boughten the RS that is properly braced for my style of ridding. What were the incentives this year for ordering an x package. In 08 they didnt do much for the buyer.

I was Just bein a smart "edit for bad language".. ha ha

I had an 08 TnT....loved it...beat the tar out of it for 4000mi. other than all the recalls/srvice bulletins,(first year model) the thing was a great sled. I am thinking this one will be more like my old 800 rev though...loved that sled!
As far as incentives go...well,I dunno....They gave me what I wanted for my trade (super rare!!) and beat everyone elses price by at least $500 3yr engine warranty,some other stuff,I'd have to check its been a long summer!!

I owned the 800r x package. The sleds motor was fast quick. The sled felt very very light. I could point it anywhere. The issues I had was the bushings for the ski`s were gone. The a arm bushings started to go. The oil leaks from who knows where. My heat exhanger vibrated loose where the rivets were. My running boards looked like a horse shoe. The Motor had a rattle in it like something was vibrating. I think it was something foolish but not sure. The skid plate fell off with sk doo rivets. The a arm bushings started to go. Just my 2 cents on the xp chassis. Not sure what the deal is. I jumped my sled. I think I had to many beers and I stuffed my knee through the oil resivoir took the dealer 4 hours labor to fix it. The side panels had tons of stress cracks from nothing. Hood wouldnt stay. A buddy of mine had the renegade x and had alot of stuff went wrong with his. Not to mention the recalls. I went back to the rev 800`s. I own two 800`s and love the rev`s durabilty and longevity. Parts are easy to get and never really have to tinker on them. If they hold durability like the revs then I will buy another. Sorry didnt mean to ramble and get away from your topic.

I know this year there wasnt as many orders for the xp`s so they should be on time or earlier than last year and previous year.

So.......did anyone else order a new sled this year? Did anyone get their new sled yet?

I'm still waiting for "the call" .....should be next week!

Hey.....at least when we are out on the trails,we get to leave our worries behind.....for a little while anyway!!

Probably the #1 thing I love most about snomobiling.......makes you forget about everything else except what you are doing right at that very moment!

The dealer I ordered my sled from had a whole PILE of E-tec sleds in crates out back. You should be getting yours soon I assume.....

I picked up my new GSX 600 from Ronnies last Friday. Ordered it the week before and they had it in a couple of days. I can't wait to get out and play with it. This is my first Ski Doo.

My first sled too Bro...I am waiting for snow! Enjoy!!
