Hello all,

You have seen my projects materialize over the past few years and today I have made the committment to step it up a level. I am confident that I possess the skills to do complete gearbox rebuilds, but I need a case or two to practice on first.

I have a gearbox from a 2003 Skandic SUV 600 that has great top shafts/gears, but the middle/lower gears as well as the case itself are toast:

I am looking for a couple of busted gearboxes that I can buy from you to see if I can piece one together. I am not going to learn if I do not try and I really don't want to practice on a new gearbox!

If you have one you can part with, I will gladly buy it from you. I am willing to ship parts from as far away as Alaska.

You are the widetrack man! Think you can ship newly rebuilt cases into Boarder Beacon???

LOL You never know!

Looks like I'll be awhile before I perfect this art, the main reason being that I can't find any subjects to experiment on!

LOL, that one will be hard to nail down for a while yet, but it is a real possibility. One thing is for sure, if an overnighter is required, it will gaurantee that the right equipment is on board.

I mentioned that evening to Yettman when I offered to show around our part of the province. I refered to his hospitality and making us all sleep outside LOL. Too funny.
