ok so i'm sure this thread will get almost no use due to the sparseness of dootalkers in maine.... but why not do it anyway?

this is the official spotted thread. it is for posting when you "spot" a fellow dootalker.

i'll start.

i saw a couple days ago, a white honda ridgeline with a ski-doo sticker, and a dootalk sticker in the rear window (amongst others). route 1 scarborough. no idea who you were, just thought it was cool to see another dootalk sticker in my area!

There is more maine doo talkers than you think .. All the boy's over to chase toy's in troy are doo talk fans along with most of the big sled heads in that area .. just not many post on this part of the fourm doing to it being maine an not much goes on ..

The white Ridgeline is mine. I don't remember why i was down near OOB, but you can bet it wasn't to check out the Canadians in their Speedo's!!

sounds cool i'm building my shop at the south end of scarborough across from the fire station. see the 02 2500HD with "TK" lettered on the side, stop in and say hi! if it's the new style 1500 with the "TK" lettering... that's dad's truck.... he'll look at you like you've got 3 heads if you stop in and say hi while mentioning dootalk

i too am from maine and you can see me all around the southern part of the state but i dont have a dootalk sticker lol i live in springvale but go to usm in portland and my girlfriend lives in raymond. last year she had an apartment on pine point so i was over that way a bit too. i work for my dad who is a contractor so we all over from nh up to the portland area all the time working. so as you can see im pretty well travled around this part of the state. even though i dont have the dootalk sticker you guys and gals my have noticed my last truck it was a yota witha flat bed that had a bunch of big hunting decals in the back window with fuldraw for the lincese plate. but that truck got totaled by a drunk driver one night on the way to raymond so now i have a flat black extended cab yota with the fuldraw license plate. ya i know i just wrote way to much but i am procrastinating from writing a couple sport law papers.

oh and TK HO i saw you or maybe your dad a couple weeks ago where the new shop is going up we were doing some work right down the rd and i had to grap a couple things from the hardware store.

That was Idoo2. He is really busy this time of year campaigning for the No on 1 referendum. I saw him at the Fremont drags and he is selling everything to devote his time to the Sierra Club and Restore.

dont know if theres to many of you from southern maine but if you ever see a big white duramax with stacks and a big skidoo sticker acrost the windshield wave me down, had one guy driving next to me notice the sticker and his passanger hung a wicked cool looking rev hood like snake skin looking out the window, ended up talking to them at the next light and found out it was the same hood i was looking at in NH the day before

live in auburn, usualy in the surrounding towns like turner or minot, im almost always hanging out at wallingford equipment when i get out of school, my sleds in there show room right now on display actually if any of you go in there before the trails are open

alright just checkin i'm down scarborough area, don't make it up to auburn but maybe once a year for something. usually fly on by on the way camp or something, i have no connections or reasons to stop in that area.

haha yeah i tend to stick to the outskirts of town, i'll rather drive around back roads than through town

oh i have nothing against the area, i just have no reason to go there, that's all. actually, i think the last time i went up there was to go to chapter 11, because my ex wanted to drive over an hour, in my 11mpg truck hauling a trailer, to get a new bed because it was cheaper. we spent the difference in gas and time vs. buying a more comfortable bed that was 2 or so years ago.

hahah sounds like it makes alot of sense to me! on a diffrent note, since this is a "spotted" post, my sled is in the show room at Wallingford Equipment on rt 4 in auburn to advertise and attract attention and such, i see people in there looking at it all the time but the other day when i got there one of the salesman told me that there was a guy in earlyer that day looking at it that said he saw it online! and that makes me realy curious as to who on here was there? coulda been some one from hardcoresledder tho
