On a turbo sled having a good working wide band is a must!
In my travels I have dealt with AEM,Innovate, prosport and of course my trusty (land and sea) on my dyno.
I'm curious on other makes that people have tried and what has worked for them.
So far besides my L&S wide band the AEM has been the most reliable.

Dynojets wideband commander. 4yrs on the Mach with intermittent use on some other black toys. Still using the same sensor.

Here is a comparison made by one of the Ford magazines a couple of years ago. Even if you do not believe the results it does give a nice list of options.

Blue,
Thank you thats a very good comparison.
My thoughts would be that if the AEM where to have software it would be a little closer,I have found in sled appliation that the inovate to be alittle less then reliable on more then one occasion and when dealing with boosted sleds, well 1 point will kill.LOL
As for the latency, the difference would only make a difference in lab quality tests.
Just my thoughts though.

I have been using a AEM on my bike this past summer with good results, very fast response times.
Worked well, even survived a crash.

Cliff,
My last turbo sled I built I installed the Innovate. Even though it was supposed to be the best it only worked part time. The earphone style plug in gave me fits. AEM for me from here on out, they seem to work all the time or at least till the sensor goes bad.
Off the subject of AF gauge but anyone try a AEM boost gauge/controller all in one? I really like a digital boost gauge that reads in tenths of a lb. like the Cyberdyne boost gauges I've used in the past. The AEM digital has boost controller/gauge all in one.

Have had Innovate and AEM, had to send a AEM gauge in that went bad but they fix for free. I do like the AEM best easy to read.

I run a FJO set up and love it, I used to have the innovate, and couldn't get it to be consistent, numbers jumping around, the FJO is instant and steady, Also seen the AEM on another turbo sled which worked well.

Response time on my Innovate was impressive, but lacked consistency, even with repeated calibrations, and checking all wiring. Would work great, then go wild for abit. Have not resolved with them.

AEM very fast warm up Way faster than my innovate.

I have personnally used AEM & innovative on my sleds. The AEM performs flawlessy & gives solid readings with no spiking or jumping around. Sometimes a crappy install can make a big diff.

I used to use the Innovate as well, but this year I switched to the Koso. I had a hard time deciding between it and the AEM.

After a couple bad Innovative sensors and gauges I switched to the AEM. So far so good I have 4 AEM gauges on use, the Rhino/ The RZRs / My RXP sea doo / My assault. All work fantastic.

A7,
Where did you buy your AEM's?
I think it's time for me to replace my Innovate.

I see you have one on your Seadoo, is the display pretty water resistant?
What model do you recommend?

I do use mine on the Sea Doo I have it right in the handle bar pad. I don't know how water proof it is I do alot of mostly high speed running just kissing 80 mph this year! I don't use it much for wave jumping etc so it never gets too wet. The wiring is all siliconed up where it goes into the gauge.
