So the 4 year old was out for 5 hours yeasterday turning laps. Parks the Mini in the yard, and it was quite warm all afternoon. Skid were froze to the snow by 7pm when I tried to put it away.
When I started it up - the track would not move - the engine would rev but the track was as tight as could be - I could not move it. This is after moving it away from the area where the skis were frozen to the snow.
Put it in the garage overnite - and this am - seems to be working ok after it thawed out (although there didn't seem to be an ice on the sled when I moved it into the garage last nite).
Anybody know what might cause this? BTW - I really know nothing about the clutches in these sleds!

Track was probably stuck frozen, besides being stuck to the ground. The centrifugal clutch was slipping. That is about the only possible answer if its working now. That clutch is probably glazed which can cause chatter or further slipping. Easy to disassemble and clean.

This happens to mine alot. I always wheel it out of the garage and pick the back end up 1 foot off the ground and drop it. Water must melt and refreeze on the slides?!
