So what happened on Saturday? I seen the #777 in the staging area, then we walked up and around to see the uphill section, watched a couple races, sat thru a couple grooming breaks, then seen the Doo Talk sled come off the line, went by twice..and that was it?? What broke? did you wipe out?? We couldn't hear nothing on the hill from the announcer.
Where did you guys park? We didn't get pit pass' but one of the guys let us walk in at the opening where the demo rides where, just past the tunnel, we walked up to the next gate where the staging area was and a Peak - n- peek guy was there, he wouldn't let us go any further.
Saturday was a great day to be at the races and just plain be outside.
Racing was good, but it seamed like rider / racer turn out from last yr was down. How was Sunday??
That #322 runs pretty good.
We thought the track was pretty good, at least it was pretty decent for watching, that first up hill section was long..!! You had to get up on the hill to really see most of the action. But the warm temps made the track slushy, and it just seemed like they'd run two class', then have a groomer break, run two more, groom......it kinda dragged on.
The Demo rides were cool, we basicaly rode everything they had there, except the two ups...LOL. the demo area was also taking a beating in the warm temps.
Talked to Form III (from Chaut. Lake Club) for quite bit...
Saturday's crowd was decent, but a few of the guys and that dealer that was there from Erie Pa, all thought that more would have shown up, but probably didn't think it was still going on with all the warm temps we have had.
A few pics from Saturday.....i took over 90 of them thru out the day, photobucket issuper slow for me, so i only uploaded a few.
