We mainly ride the Western UP and love the scenery, bond's falls, lake of the clouds, sturgeonr river gorge. Couple years ago we were on a trail that rode a canyon bottom for a couple miles with high hills and cliffs on both sides. It wasn't the trail through sturgeon river gorge. I would like to ride it again and cannot remember what trail it was. Could it be the trail going into L'anse from the south? Any help would be appreciated. Also any suggestions for a nice ride are also appreciated. We hardly ride Wisconsin Northwoods at all now, mostly the great trails in the UP.

I think the previous post was correct I think it's the trail going to Big Bay from L'Anse, it's been about 5-6 years since I rode in the up.. In the Northern Lower the trails and 2 tracks through the Jordan River Valley are gorgeous. We just put 300 miles on through that area last weekend..Note if you start 2 tracking there as well as the Pigeon State Forest go with qa local or have GPS at hand you can really get turned around blasting down all those 2 tracks, the Jordan Valley Trail council does a tremendous job grooming the trail there..
