For sure dirt!!!. Unless we get a freak storm or something. Then hill is taken a beating from the sun, and with the warm temps by the weekend snow will be pretty much toast. I think boonville is toast now. Just came back and about the only place you can ride is top of the hill, or Rome area maybe. You better head up now if you want to ride>

Why would you automatically say "DIRT", when the outlook you posted shows a good chance of below normal temps centered over New York state for that time period?????

Agreed. I bought my sled in early January and it was snowing constantly. Then we had the 6th least snowy February on record. The only riding possible has been up North or on the hill. My riding buddies like to ride the Schroon Lake area as they don't like all the traffic on the hill, so last week and this week have not been very good for riding. I'm thinking of going up to Canada or maybe Maine or Northern New Hampshire, but I won't ride by myself and need to find someone to go with. Anyhow, all in all I would say that this winter was disappointing. The snow started out good but basically stopped after the second week of January everyplace but on the hill. I know next year I'll have more vacation available and will plan on taking a week off and going up to the hill or even to Canada for a week and just do nothing but ride, put 1,000 miles on in a week. That's probably the only way I'll ever be satisfied with the amount of riding I'll be able to do in a season.
Almost 1400-miles this season. None in Barnes Corners, Flatrock area. All my riding in Oneida, Madison, Onondaga, Cortland & Cayuga Counties. I know it might not have snowed in your area, but the whole state had snow in Feb! It was a great season. Another 50-miles today playing on hills and boodocking until the rain came.

Rode the hill yesterday, it was ok. Lower areas like Camden really need some snow. Roads are bare. no ones grooming cause its too warm to.

We rode fri 70 miles fri night, and only dragged raced at the Towpath on sat for something to do. Trails have snow but its rough and with the warm temps and rain no one is grooming. Lower areas are shot, roads are bare, you could hammer out some last minute miles if you wanted, I have the trails in worse shape, but as far as traveling to ride I wouldnt unless they got some more snow....
