when can you ride the new sleds in old forge---i know they have a weekend every march, but havent heard anything yet this year.

not to be a downer but the way it looks there might not bee any demo rides. my dad and neighbor said its going away quick.

Heading down for the weekend with the girlfriend. Hope to demo a couple sleds, keeping my fingers crossed for the weather. Otherwise, should be a good time.

my dad just came back and he said it wasent the greatest but he rode 206 miles. ill be going up this weekend and will give a report. and what ever my report states judging by temps you should be able to figure out how it will be sno fest weekend.

he said he rode confusion flats and the few truck trails that are associated with the flats are thin but flat and fast.


what truck trails are you refering too? i might know them as somthing else.

HEY GANG: Little bit of rain early this AM here in the Big Old Forge! Trails remain in good condition with roads being roads so my suggestion is to bring the trailer! Inner trails are loaded with snow! Also we have been moving snow all day for next weekend's snofest! Demo rides will happen so pack your bags and head up to Old Forge for the Snowmobile party of the Year! 2009 Snofest opens it's doors friday at 12pm With demo rides until 6pm! Then we will open back up Saturday morning at 9 with demo rides until 4pm! The boyz from Rave X will be throwing down some serious tricks at their practice session at noon! Then X games Gold Medalist Dane Ferguson will take to the Air as he will show Old Forge why he is a Gold Medalist! Then Bring yourself back at 7 for the Grand finale and the Best freestyle competition this side of Aspen! Ben Copp will be going head to head against Ferguson to see who will take home Snofest Gold! The Show will end with a backflip fireworks grand finale! Also we will be giving away a sled to some lucky person in the crowd! For more info Checkout!

yea whats the verdict on the snow in old forge

yeah bout that! It's thin and snirty! But as for next week's demo rides we have a 3 mile closed course that hasnt been touched all winter but by the groomers we will be opening up the gate to this area next weekend for the demo's will have plenty of snow! We will be making two tracks one groomed flat and another with a good w00p section! Keep up to date

It's great to hear that you have a closed course with the way it is right now. With that I ask,why are you stressing and eating more then? I saw you come back from your food run Sat.AM.Things will be fine.

I'll be there. Coing up with 4 friends. I love the old forge demos. It's great that you can jump on all 4 of the brands in the same time right after each other

All systems are gooooooooooooo! We are having some warm snowing falling but things are shaping up for the weekend with some kool temps rolling in thursday and friday! Also we have a 3 miles loop groomed and ready that is full of snow!! Keep up to date with snofest
