We are riding from Shawinigan and thought we could make a day trip to the Ice Hotel. Can anyone help me and let me know where it is.

Also, where else is a good place to ride from Shawinigan. We are going to do mostly day trips, but thought we might do an overnight somewhere. Any thoughts?

It is in Quebec City. Would make a nice not too long trip from Shawinigan...
Don't think you can make it all the way into downtown Quebec tho.

Hey, I forgot to tell you thanks for the response. We did the trip to Ice Hotel and back from Motel Safari. It was a great day. The hotel was worth seeing..

That ICE Hotel in canada is a joke. The real one is in Sweden.

The pictures look very nice. However, not being there and only seeing the pictures, it almost looks like the same people make the hotel. It looks very similar. The art work looks a little more detailed.

Exactly. I met the chief designer for the Ice Hotel in Sweden last year in Chicago. She was there for a show at McCormick Place and was partying almost every night in the clubs. A great girl and very easy on the eyes as well!!! She carved an awesome eagle out of a solid block of ice that was on display at McCormick.
