Rode there on 12/30, it was fair. They had a groomer going on the south end. It was Wed so there were very few sleds. Still kinda of rocky in places. The north end was fair as well. The roads where hard pack icy.
Go, its worth it!

I have not confirmed this but I heard Seven Spring is selling gas. You buy a pre-paid gas card from them to use at there pump/? They also opened a parking lot for unloading and loading of sleds. Also cut 25 miles of trails. Sounds like there trying cater to the snowmobilers for a change. This kind of makes sense because there was no one parked at the club yesterday.

How do you get to them from the south Forbes trails? I rode to Hidden Valley to eat a few years ago but forgot the way.

You can get to the Exxon down on 31 from the south side. Find Martz trail and go through the boy scout camp. Take the road out of the camp and follow it to 31. If your sled can go 90-100 miles on a tank, you can ride everything up there. We did 110 yesterday riding both sides of the turnpike. We got accross using Ackerman road to Rt381 to Fleager Rd on the north side. It's a few miles of road riding, but they were covered in the blizzard yesterday. North side was all groomed perfectly. Didn't see any state grooming on the south side, but Maple Summit area was perfect. They may do the south side on a different day. There is almost 2 feet up there now. Here is a pic from Wed.

Thanks for that info and the pic. We will be up tomorrow am around 10 and were looking for the path to the north. We trailered them around last time, not this time!
