I'am sure this was mentioned at sometime but for 2010 will bomb. be puting a turbo or super charger on the 1200 any rumors
NO just a 1200 ho 20 percent more hp 155-160 hp

He doesn't.
When talking to my dealer today he said his rep told him , " No turbo 1200 but who knows what doo has up there sleeves" XP550 fan, and xrs consumer race sled were mentioned.... probably just rumors
My dealer told me on Monday that BRP is working on a supercharger for the 1200, but it might not be out until 2011 model. BRP already has this technology on the SEA-DOO's. Hopefully I will find out more this weekend in Valcourt.
It is a factory turbo, i saw it in Perth Ontario 3 weeks ago. They were testing. And very quiet when we stopped.

some said the bosses are already cast on the blocks just like the seadoo's..... should be an easy transition...epa

I heard that mpi had been contracted to do one for yamaha and had a sled for production but corperate yanked it but also they went to ski-doo and and are doing theirs.
my dealer said that all the dealers are siting on huge invitory cuz this year sucked so they wont realise a sled that will hurt dealer from moving the sleds siting in thier stores; but a turbo/supercharge sled most likley limited snowcheck has a good chance of realy happening in that it doesnt conflict with ski-doo forcing dealers with awesome rebates and financing getting people to buy the 09 wich are the majority of the market so they can make up for this year suck wich we cant forget it did for the dealers.

Do you really think that there is alot of dealers that are hurting?
We had an excellent season in my area last year,and i thought that this year every house hold purchased a sled!.
I had been to a few dealers in January and all they had were a few old beaters laying around,with the exception of 1 or 2 in the showroom.
But they were busier than heck doing warranty work.just my .02
