Thinking of makeing trip Weds thurs anyone run these areas and can update conditions ?

friend of mine was in callaghan yesturday... said to conditions were good... thats where im going this weekend

I thought Callaghan was closed off to us sledders, How are the condition on the lake ?

i havent personally been up there.. but thats where he said he went... i know it was closed last year. i think this year its open. we are going up that way this weekend so ill let you know.

Going to head out friday might head up to whistler if not go push back into 10 k up at the coq.

looks like next weekend is gonna be a good weekend according to theweathernetwork....

went out to brandywine yesturday... conditions were awesome... blue sky.. and you could still find untracked powder. it was a little heavy though becuase it hasnt snowed for almost 2 weeks.. all in all it was the best riding day ive had this year. even wiht the problems we had. 2 of the sleds were getting low on gas, 1 sled getting low on oil. and my sled shut off on a hill climb. took about 40 minutes to find the wire that came loose then she fired right back up.

whislters gonna get tons of snow this week so next weekend should be awesome

Sounds like it was a awesome trip and thanks for the update, never made it out last week or this weekend like i had planned but this week and next weekend we will be getting out there weather might be not so good but the snow should be better.

im heading out sunday as well... should be nice. the forecast for next week looks promising.. but so did last week and that only turned out to be a couple inches

Weds 3 cm, thurs 25 cm, fri 0 cm, sat so far today sitting at 25 cm and still snowing hard should be pushing 30 + by the end of today maybe more OHHHHHHH YA POW POW HERE I COME !!

I don't think Whistler area has seen that much snow, they did get some over the last week just not what the Coq has seen those snow numbers are from the Coq web cam weather station at the summit. Was wait to hear news from both areas before i make a call, Its snowing hard right now up at the Coq but sunny out at whistler.

anyone riding the coq tomorrow. missed out this weekend and can't wait another week. weather in whistler is not looking to good.

yea brandywine didnt have too nice of snow... up high you could find nice stuff. it also sucks when your sled breaks down.. and you have to tow it out.. im so choked right now. ride a sled 6 times and it leaves you broken down twice...

Heading up on Tues missed out on the weekend as well.

im hoping i get a engine rebuild under warranty haha... but i bet its an easy fix.... its weird... i got fuel and spark... it just wont fire.. after turning it over a few times it began impossible to pull start it because of the pressure.

Any ideas?

Was it running and then died or did you stop and could not get it to start ? buddy rides a 08 800 154 and just last month came out on a rope, the computer was done and had to be replaced. Kinda sounds like what your sled is doing have spark and gas just will not fire over.

2 weeks ago i was doing a hill climb and it shut off instantly... 8200rpm to nothing. after about 40 minutes it fired again

yesturday i was just on the trail at brandywine and it starts to feel like it was running on one cylinder...it was bogging like crazy but off and on. then as soon as i came to a stop it shut down. I had no overheating lights on or anything and my scratchers were down.

Sounds like its electrical to me, buddys sled ran chity too just before it shut down and would not fire back up.

sledhound, you goin to the coq tomorrow? ditched work and lookin to go riding. u mind if i tag along?
