Got gas on Saturday in the morning at Barnard general store, and sled shut off about hmmmm 30 seconds later. Ha get this drained tank and carb bowls the gas was brownish black with a hint of red, particles floating inside tons of water. This was the 87 pump and believe me I was not the only one the guy right before me had the same thing happen too. The 93 was fine though as far as I know. But my whole day on Saturday was shut down, I got there at 1030am and didn't leave till 330 after I got a tow home. Mind you I was 40 miles from home so no thanks to riding home, plus the trails sucked in this area terrible in my opinion.

Also what way is this border to border going, give me some trail directions starts in Woodford yup got that but what way are they running this year so in case I want to ride on Saturday I don't get ran over by a throttle jokey, brapping his sled to be a show off. Thanks for the information.

Sorry to hear that, but at least you did not get stranded on trail. Rode from Chester to Woodstock and Pomfret area on Sunday and thought the trails were ok. They were excellent early in the morning. Snow is just to loose to hold up to much traffic.

Yup I hear ya that little bit of traffic kills the trails especially in my area, which is basically a highway all day lol. You know what trails that border to border is running at all?

Gas quality is a real crapshoot anymore. I rode tug hill last weel for a few days and could tell instantly if the gas sucked after filling up at some stations. Busier the better.....Trails were pretty good north of Pittsfield on Saturday. Agreed that the trails are still not set, as I pulled four sleds out of the side fluff on 12 near Barre.

Yeah I hear ya. Hey I am looking on going to Barre area Saturday hopefully. Can you tell me the trails that border to border is running so I will not be on any of them cuz I know they will surely be beat up right as they start going through.

I don't know which trails they will be using, but I believe they will be very well marked with yellow arrows so participants do not have to stop and look at intersections.
