A friend and I would like to head North this weekend from Iowa and are looking for the best trail conditions with the least amount of driving. We will be coming from Clear Lake IA which is right on I35. So we were thinking of stopping in the Cameron or Rice Lake area and jumping on the trail system there. Can anyone tell me if the trails in this area are good and do they connect to the rest of the trail system allowing us to ride farther into Northern Wisonsin? Did Wisconsin have the same warm weather this weekend as Iowa??? Is there a good enough snow base in this area for the trails to still be in good shape? Any help or advice would be great. Thanks!!!
