to change the primary spring, you don't need much.
you don't need to pull the whole clutch off, so you don't need a clutch puller. just take the bolt out and tap the sliding half gently out words with a rubber mallet... you might be able to just wiggle it off, there really isn't anything holding it on. what i do is back the clutch bolt off just about an 1/8" and fire the engine for a few seconds... this will help loosen the sliding half. you don't need the button forks either.... it's just easier if you have it. when putting the governor cup back on without the forks.. it takes a smidge longer to start them 1 by 1 but it's not that hard. for a spring compressor, i just have a threaded rod that i put in a vice. i put the clutch over the rod followed by a washer and nut. remove the three spring cup retainer bolts and back off the nut on the threaded rod... thats it.

pop off the sliding half like i mentioned above and bring it to a dealer to have them change the spring. hope this helps [ it too me longer to hunt and peck type this than it would have to do the work, haha]
