This is a great class and has real life saving training and tips.
I personally took Mike's class back in November in Brainerd and met a lot of great people. Over Christmas break I and some friends went to Cooke City to ride for the week. With the new knowledge that I gained from Mikes class my friends and I were able to ride smarter then ever before. We were riding on a fairly mild hill near top of the world's look out tower and one of the guys from the group headed over to a nearby hill to "Check it out". He scoped out the hill and with his new Avalanche training he decided the hill didn't look safe. The second that he decided to turn around with out even going on the hill. THE ENTIRE HILL SLID DOWN BEHIND HIM. If we hadn't taken mikes class in November I would almost guarantee you that I would have been digging out my Buddy instead of taking this great picture!!!!! (the hill that slid is over my sholder in the back ground)
Be Smart and Ride Safe!!!
