that time of year again to make a RUN ..starts at 10-11am and ends when you finish ... starting location is RACERS in SEXTON, IA ( 6miles East of ALGONA, IA on HWY 18 ) ... large parking lot ... best to unload in Algona at the CHROME TRUCKSTOP and ride east ... truckstop is at the intersection of HWY 18 & HWY 169 ... would be willing to show a group the KOSSUTH COUNTY LOOP ... full day of riding .. trails should be packed solid for Saturday high traffic ... i recommend the food at RACERS .. Ron Pearson is the owner of the place .. great guy

If I had seen this sooner I would have grabbed the crew here and trailered over there. I've always wanted to stop in to Racers on my travels across hwy. 18. Looks like an inviting place for guys like us. How did the poker run go? Any mishaps?

pretty good RUN actually . trails were rough in spots ... sled traffic helped bust up the hard surface in some areas ... i had a minor roll over on mine .. hidden hard drift under some soft snow ... didnt even have time to react .. i was on my back in seconds .. only cracked wind deflector on leftside .. ripped it down that night to make sure nothin else broke or cracked .. all good now ..
