For those who do not know, Savoy and other higher elevation towns in the area were slammed with ice from last Friday's storm. The damage is unbelievable and some people in the area are not expected to get power restored until later this week and even into next week. The trails are unpassable and all the work we have spent for the last three months has gone down the tubes. It will take a huge effort from everyone who wishes to possible snowmobile this year in these areas to get them opened up again. Right now people are just trying to get the roads and driveways clear. I will update this post towards the end of the week with our plans for starting to clean up the trails. Again, if people expect to ride at all this year up on the mountain, we will NEED you help. Below are some pictures of just some of the damage for a perspective of the damage.

We will be meeting at the Savoy General store both on Saturday and Sunday @ 9am to start the massive effort to clear the trails after last weeks ice storm. We are looking into getting some equipment to assist in the work, but we need a lot of man power as well if any one wants to see the groomers out this year on the trails. PLEASE HELP OUT!!!
