Well I got my first 33 miles on yesterday around lipton fort quapple area (yes richie you missed the first pickled sausage of the year and it was great) not the greatest snow by any means but have sledded in worse. Stubble fields were decent and some of the west ditches on roads running north and south were okay found some drifts about 3 feet deep or so along fence lines and tree lines.

First time riding an xp and loved it love the way it handled and drove. Jumped back on my old rev (07 i sold to a buddy) and it felt like I just jumped back onto my 01 mxz 800 cant believe the difference between the 2 chassis. The power was unreal suspension was good could jump approaches and ditches no problem. I do have the xp summit sag but I couldnt feel it in the suspension at all (dont know if it is something i should worry about since i seemed to like the suspension so far). The front shocks were on the lightest setting and the rears set about mid (195 pounds without gear and ride pretty aggressively). The front end felt light and comfrotable. Had cluthes set on clicker 1 as the handbook suggests for our elevation and clutches seemed good didnt get to hot and lots of backshift would pick ski's up no problem at all. Fuel gauge working fine, Handwarmers working fine if anything to hot when -41 had them on 3rd bar (might have to check out the thumbwarmer had it on the highest and couldnt feel any heat when riding mind you it was -41 with windchill), Pull start still working (some people complained the 09's are falling apart), I upgraded the display to temp, top rpm, top speed, compass worked fine love the the top rpm for clutch tunning ( if i get a dj clutch kit).

Pretty happy customer here so far hope it stays that way just need some real snow now.

nice sled. still my favourite color combo.

Just a quick tip...had it happen on mine and two other XP's last season. Put a knot in the pull rope behind the handle. On all three machines the knot from the factory gave way. Not hard to fish out of the recoil, but it's still a pain in the arse.
Nice report...really like that color combo. Surprising you're all the way down on clicker 1.
BTW, Not too much more sno wup North. Put a few miles on the 1200 yesterday, still need another 2-3" to make it really nice. Have a little more around Canora, but I doubt it's worth the drive yet. If I were going anywhere, I'd probably consider the MB side of the Ducks right now.

Good to hear you fired that sucker up Franko.
I am jealous about missing out on pickled sausage, but hopefully by the time i get out there to ride there is a little better conditions. Don't want to beat up on the old gade too bad.
