2004 600 sdi what is the battery for ? next after it is warm it don't like to start any more... sounds like a clicking after you try pull starting it... fuel pump?? just got it and dont know much about them.. Please help

The battery is to run the fuel injection and electronics. The clicking may be the fuel system cycling on and off. Are you precharging the fuel system before pulling on it initially? All the lights coming on?
