We are planning to go the same weekend at Monts-Valins and they received 25 cm of fresh snow 3-4 days ago . Don't know if they are still grooming trails but who cares , there is still snow on the ground April 19 .
Maybe Charlevoix could be very nice too .
That's really fun sledding those last hot days .

Mine is a black Renegade X 800 with RS stripes .
We'll start from St-Fulgence Friday we go to Les Escoumins from Pelchat trail , Sathurday we come back to L' Auberge 31 .
Trails were groomed Aplril 14 2008 for the last time (trails are closed) but still LOTS of snow no problem , we may not be alone .
Last week we rode 1300 km/800 m in Gaspesia , 50'F it was AWESOME - few bumps , lots of mud
This weekend forecast is Sunny around 60' F

I guess you still feel good about it. I talked to the folks at Auberge 31 a few minutes ago, and he said "Very bad". A lady up at http://relaisonatchiway.com/ which is quite a way up from Mont Valin said it was still good.

Sorry the beautiful forecast is for where I live , 325 miles south .
Yes , cloudy and possible rain is on the program . It's not fun but I have no problems with rainy days . With light gloves it works pretty good to wipe the visor , I just wrap my clothes in plastics bags , in my travel bag , so I have dry spare clothes .
