Almost every engine almost everywhere starts at 1.5 turns counter clockwise from the seat. From there it takes a careful ear to listen to each cylinder to set them exactly. Basically start fat and lean slowly until it sounds crisp. When the RPM drops off you need to fatten it up until the RPM recovers. You will have to do this several times to find the sweet spot. Of course this will change with altitude and temperture because there is no compensation. Also the lower the RPM the more senitive the idle mixture is; so, idle as low as possible to make your adjustments. You can set the idle RPM after you get-r-tuned.
This is difficult to hear but, if you listen closely you can hear each cylinder.
