I am going to graduate college this spring and then I will be moving to the Bellingham from Michigan. I currently have a 05 500ss and will be buying a summit once I get settled out there. What are the conditions and trails normally like out there? Will the 146" track be good enough or do I need the 154"??

B-ham area has big mountains (e.g., Baker) that typically get a LOT of snow. You'll want the longer track. BTW - All the locals here post on Snowest. Good luck!

I have seen good results with a 144 or a 151. But I would get a 151. In the deep fluff that we get once in a while it helps!
Also I would join a club to find people to show you the ropes around here. I went from riding southern Minnesota to Washington. Much different riding in WA. THought they were trying to kill me the first year I rode with them biggrin.gif ohmy.gif Now I lead the pack about 1/2 the time.

Check with http://www.wssa.us/ to find a club if you would like. There is some good info on the site.

Take care
