I just bought a 2003 rev 600 and it still has the beaver tail. Should i take it off or keep it on. What should i do?

Some people say it gets hotter with a shaved beaver.

Mine only did once. It was late season. 45 degrees for a couple days, then 20 degrees. Snow was like concrete everywhere. Never had a heat problem other than that, not even trail riding.

I also welt with a 136" Ripsaw track at the same time.

take it off, if you hit open water with it you will sink like a rock.
