Real good conditions on South Hill going into Bridgewater on Friday. Took the four stroke with the long track and had a blast boondocking in some of the clear cuts. Conditions were soft and loose and really fun for railing berms. Pittsfield area was groomed for the most part and trails were fast. Resevoir was good as usual with some chatterboard conditions here and there. Probably better after the snow. Rode the 440 on Staurday and headed north on 100 out of Pittsfield. The trail was brutal for six miles. Hard whoops in tight trees with turns. Worked off the beers, thats for sure. There were guys with broken skids in two spots. Broke bolts and lost them. It was rough! North of RD1 it got good in a hurry and then was awesome. Snowing hard in the afternoon and the 440 was the perfect weapon to rip through the trails. If it stays cold these trails will be mint for a while. Barnard was good too. Still getting used to the re-route. Ride smart!
