Went out last night rode from Pistakee bay to Spring Grove up to 173 and turned around when i realized i missed the turn off for Richmond headed back across the worse turned over corn field then to Richmond over to the North side of Glacier park headed over to Dusty's for pizza in Wonder Lake and then to Ringwood and over to Johnsburg ditch banged down Wilmot rd to Les's(former 0wner of Harmony's and Mulligans) new bar in Sunny Side and then headed home. All the trails were either rough or just barely any snow on them made do but would sugest either heading out to rural McHenry county to ditch bang or ride ones of the lakes ice is good but the connecting ice to the other lakes is not so you will be stuck riding the lake your on.Agood size lake like Pistakee offers some good riding a few bars and some nice inlets and channels to exploer.Becareful!

Rode right after the Super Bowl and trails and the fresh snow improved the trails quite a bit then yesterdays thaw and rain came and screwed it back up again.Hopefully with tonights 8-12 inches we can have decent trails again...keep your fingers crossed!
