Overall most of the trails were freshly groomed. There were some wind blown spots, but it was great other than the -25C weather. Put on 220 miles. 2 blowed up Fusion 900's and I blew a fuse, no other problems though.

Was there lots of snow on the ground? How much would have been in the flats off trail?
Thanks,
Rev, M&S
When you were at Greenwater, did you happen to go on the trail that goes to Mistatim? If so was it groomed?

We just went to Kelvington, Chelan, and Porcupine. And also part of the Archiwill trail system.

I was up there about a month ago, and the snow was awsome compared to Watson. Trails were nice, and snow in the fields was great. Good place to ride

Ya.....We are heading there again this coming Friday. I hope they have as much snow as we do up here.

Hey Vootoo - wondering what the conditions were like last weekend - have a small group heading that way on friday Feb. 29th for a three day ride - any recommendations on where to stay away from - we are staying at Marean Lake, thinking about looping east to Weeks and around that way and also heading west to archerwill and kipabiskau to Melfort. Anyone else have any thoughts!! Appreciate any replies biggrin.gif

That is almost the same runs we did. From Marean to Weekes was great, head towards Cougar Canyon trail ( very cool). When you head towards Archerwill watch the rollers when you first come off the lake as they are back breakers evan on my XP Gade X. Run the river instead of the river bank trail as it was in need of snow. Lots of Moose when we were there. After that it was great went to Naicam then up to Kipabiskau ( Lake was rough). We then looped back to Marean. 140 + miles Great weekend.

thanks for the update - with the +5 coming this weekend - better get as much riding in as we can - snow will be gone before we know it -
