I am here, will post days when i can ride soon,, ride on yea hah. I do not mind traveling as long as it 2 days or so,would love to try chetwyne out [spelling ??] Heading to vale mount on the 19th and 20th with 4 others it will be my first trip to the mountains but i am ready so they say lol

hey hogwild, Chetwynd is a pretty good spot. closer for us northern AB guys to hit, you are about the same distance from there as you are from Valemount. we usually try to hit it during the week and have the whole place to ourselves, kinda weird sledding and not seeing anybody else all day! we were there on Dec 5th and 6th, the first day it was all ours and not a track anywhere, bright sunny day and the first ride on the new sled. that was about as close to heaven as I'll ever get....

we went back just before xmas on the 22nd and 23rd, it was some of the deepest powder I have ever rode in but the visibility sucked. we hung out in the meadows and trees 'docking all day, again never saw another sled where we were.

later in the year closer to spring you can go for miles back into the bowls, some great long climbs and nice scenery. hope to drag you along with us one day....

Hey guys,I would love to make a trip up there as well. But it doesnt look like I could go untill Feb sometime.Im heading to Edmonton next weekend to pick up an 18 foot enclosed trailer.So after that i will post some dates that I have off and we will try to hook up.

lol....too much, I'm going monday or tuesday to pick up a new 24' Triton from Martin's in the city, ordered it in October.

Im not 100% sure yet what kind Im getting,still doing some tire kicking.One thing I have been told is to get a hard wall if you are going to be doing any off road camping with them in the summer.The aluminum side trailers scratch up very easily where the hard walls dont. As well as you want to make sure that there are no wheelwells inside the trailer because they are a pain when loading sleds.I have heard that Triton is a nice trailer.

I will be there with yah for sure lets set up a ride in feb or march,get a bunch of alberta rednecks together, should be a blast

March would be good, a bunch of us up here go to Valemount every family day long weekend in February for 5 days. we'll come up with a date that works for everyone and go from there....

Teeroy and Crash and burn I wil be there for valemount but I think we need to start planning some closer places(Chetwynd,Kakwa,Grande Cache) for the rest of the season I need to ride the crap out this machine since I only have 1 year warranty. Anyway lets start posting some dates and start How about Chetwynd 26/27 of January

looking for some one to ride with during week days any time just need a little notice to give work. im on call all the time so i just tell them when im not going to work. wife likes when i go during week, she has weekends off. but week ends work to im not theat wipped.

hey crashnburn I am from G.P also. I've been looking for more guys to sled with. Most people I usually go with are on a different shift or are working to far away. I am on an 8days on and 6days off, just started today will be off next wed. I have rode mostly the pine pass and a little in kakwa. I would like to get a few more rides in year.

Hey Guys . Get off work march 21st morning, that day is kind of screwed, but could drive where ever and find a place to stay and sled till the afternoon of the 24th, have to be back @ work 26th. I am not a extreme sledder or a professional hill climber, but like to play in the powder, only been to mountains once and that was this year, but willing to travel 6 to 8 hrs.Chetwyne [spelling ?] area should still be good then ?
Let me know, heading to my property north of nipawin sask from the 10th to the 16th, they still have 4 ft of snow there,so it should be a blast.

I might be able to ride Chetwynd but to early to tell for sure.

Hey guys sounds like we are good for riding Chetwynd starting morning of April 21 travel home april 23 after riding on sunday. Gonna book rooms at the stage coach motel for friday and sat night tomorrow.Anybody wanna join us your more than welcome.Anybody have any snow info for hasler,powderking,silver sandsand area?
Probably heading to Renshaw on March 27 night and sled 28,29 and possibly 30 come home on the 31.Will sled Renshaw and Valemount areas these days anybody else gonna be there.Havent decided if gonna stay in McBride or Valemount.
