A friends new Black XPX 800 was ripped off Tuesday Afternoon .A generous reward is being offered for any information about this. This happened right on the trail in Pittsfield Vermont.

I have been riding around Rutland and Windsor county Friday and today. Is this sled piped or does it have a can? Saw one at the resevoir yesterday that was loud. Where in Pittsfield was it stolen? That is awful! Post something at the Clear River Tavern. I will ask around also as I have a place here in Pittsfield.

Box stock 800 XPX 86 miles on it . Was stolen about 4:30 right in front of Dot's ( the groomer lady) we left it there just for a couple of hours(we thought). Woever did it figured out how to start it with no dss cord . Looked like a pro job to us.Thanks for keeping an eye out.

Thats weird. I was talking to Dot briefly at the Pittstop and she never mentioned this. Jeezem. That is way too close to here. Three minute walk. Was the sled up on the vast trail , across Dot's driveway, or down on the road(lower michagan)? Either way this probably was not their first. Wondering if somebody threw it in the back of a truck or something. Really would never expect something like that to happen here. I am thinking your buddy will have his sled back if it was a local. People will not tolerate that nonsense here.

A pro job??? All you would need is a ecm and a matching tether from another sled. But seriously I hope your buddy finds his sled. I would be watching ebay, craigslist, want ad digest, etc.....Good luck!

Get real. They didn't have to start it. They just tucked it under their arms and walked away.

Thanks for asking. We figure it is long gone even though a generous reward is being offered for any info about the theft. It is probably either in Canada or another state, parted out or sitting in a local location waiting for things to cool down.In any case watch your stuff if you leave it sitting out un attended.

I am leary of having a bite at the Clear now that I know a sled got scnibbed locally. I may have to chain my Rottweiller to my sleds when parked

I woulden't worry at the clear but out on the trail and remote locations( leaving a sled unatended) watch out.

Had a buddy get 2 sleds and his trailer stolen out of his barn last year........got the trailer back a few days later,but the sleds vanished.....

Not even broken in, just getting used to it and probably loving it and then........gone. Here is why the aluminum bat is better than wood. No chance of it breaking when you are beating the pricks who lifted the sled. Boils my blood! Pittsfield is so low/no crime, that is what sucks. Makes you wonder.
