I can't figure out how I am supose to do 300 miles on my new XP without going over 3/4 throttle. I am looking for some people to go ridding with that are not throttle junkies. Best spot for me would be greystokes or any where with in an hour of k town that I can take it easy on the new machine. Let me know. thanks.

I'd be mighty careful venturing into Greystokes this time of year.. Hunters Range is your best bet, just ride to the cabins, and cruise around the bowls for the first ride...

Went to greystokes on sunday. snow was actually pretty good considering. Got to test the suspension real good. tested the handwarmers, one quit. I have never owned a new sled before and dread having to bring it to the dealer. So I figured I would I would play by the rules. Well as soon as the motor loosened up and the pipe kicked in, I felt the wind up my dress, I never let up the rest of the day.

p.s. I think my other nut fell laugh.gif laugh.gif

I've only been to Greystokes in March and it has been awesome! What is the problem with early season? I'd like some explanation. Thanks

early season at greystokes is sketchy. the rocks are still pertruding through the snow. by even mid January they have been covered with ice and snow then more snow. And there are a surprizing amounts of open creeks early in the season. If you are sticking to the main trails you should be fine.

Thanks for the reply and I apologize for not getting back sooner. So all the prairies or meadows are rock infested until the snow is deep enough to bury them! The open creeks aren't really a problem but the rocks....I guess it depends on how deep the snow is and I suppose into Feb is safer? Cheers
