Please follow these Classified Section Rules to avoid clutter and confusion for buyers and sellers.

MEMBERS VIOLATING THESE RULES WILL HAVE POSTS DELETED WITHOUT WARNING.

SELLERS:

1. One thread for ALL items being sold. Do not post multiple listings of single items being put up for sale. If you post a thread and find more for sale, add it to your current list.


PAID DOOTALK SPONSORS ARE EXEMPT FROM THE CLASSIFIED SECTION RULES.

2. Pictures for items are highly suggested (They are the next thing besides price and location buyers want to know/see).

3. No commercial posting whatsoever, unless you are a site sponsor. If you have a side line at home where you buy and sell items on a regular basis (big or small), or you are offering a new tool or products to the site members, you need to contact the site administrator for advertiser/sponsor/stuff by DOOTalkers scheduling. If you do not, and your account appears to be selling more than just 'cleaning the garage once in a while', or you are selling new or used items, your account may be restricted until the issue is resolved. If you are unsure, please contact a moderator before posting.

4. ALL ads are to have price and location stated clearly or will be subject to removal.

5. DO NOT POST YOUR LISTING IN OTHER AREAS OF THE SITE.

BUYERS AND PROSPECTIVE BUYERS:

1. Be respectful to sellers when negotiating pricing and shipping. If you are interested and the price is not what you want to pay and you have a reasonable offer, post it. If you are interested and the price you are offering is a low ball figure, send a PM to the person.

2. IF YOU ARE NOT INTERESTED IN THE ITEM OR YOU THINK THE ASKING PRICE IS TOO HIGH, PM THE PERSON, OR KEEP THAT RESPONSE TO YOURSELF.

BOTH BUYERS AND SELLERS:

DO NOT GET INTO ARGUMENTS IN THE OPEN ON PRICING/SHIPPING.

SHIPPING:

Sellers, please post where you will/will not ship to. If you do not ship somewhere please make it noted.

Buyers, do not ask a seller to ship to an area they have chose not to ship to. It is their choice and there will always be other opportunities.

PROBLEMS:

Work with each other through PMs, not in the open.

For cross border purchases, buyers know you are responsible for fee's unless worked out ahead of time with seller. Some cross border shipping can take several weeks. This is no fault of the sender if they have proof they have actually sent the item. It could be a Customs issue.

Remember treat your transactions with a buyer/seller beware attitude, you are ultimately responsible.
