possibly dumb question but with those vents wont it cause problem with snpw getting in there making belt wet and causing steam?
i used to be a flat lander new to the big powder game, but i know on my 97 xc700 it didnt like it when i filled the hood with snow.
(the hood was a custom 3 piece design with bungie straps to hold it together slash on)

I use the ulra fine mesh on the clutch side it keeps the powder out.

So, are you taking orders now so they can be built and shipped next week maybe?
Or do we need to wait until they are ready to place the order?
What is the pricing on the xp vents?

The XP vents are getting Waterjet cut today so will have photos to post soon
I called another company who builds vents and asked them about delivery times, prices, options and to my surprise he said that The XP vents were 3 to 4 weeks out for delivery and does not have the options that I do

. NO HONEYCOMB, NO PAINTED FRAMES, NO CUSTOM LOGOS & LONGER DELIVERY TIMES.
That does my heart good knowing that what I am Dooing better than the other Vent builder. But I am going to improve on the delivery times so you guys get them faster and get on your sleds, improve & design my vents from feedback from everyone

Do you know how many degrees it actually drops the temp in the motor compartment. Has anyone taken out the infared thermometer and come up with hard facts? I think they look sweet and are cheaper than R & M's kit. Are the actually helping bring the temp down though?

At this time I can’t give ya any numbers, but I do have infrared thermometer and can get some actual # once I can get out on the snow. But I know from experience that temps will drop

vents look very nice, but do you not think the bottom vent on the clutch side would let water enter much quicker over stock when crossing creeks and such, getting the belt wet quicker, or is it very to fine for that
QUOTE(Idahodoo @ Nov 12 2007, 08:45 AM)

Just a note on shipping addresses. Please make sure the shipping address on paypal is current if it's not where you want vent kits delivered then PLEASE UPDATE YOUR PAYPAL ADDRESS! It simplifies and speeds up the shipping Process.

Hey IdahoDoo,
Sounds like you might have caught a tiger by the tail! I just live up in Idaho Falls, and our XP's are unloading at Botts as I'm typing this. If I just run down to Poky, can I pay you when I get there and take them with me? If so, I may be getting them for a couple riding buddies, too.
They really do look great on the sled.
