if you design a new intake vent to replace the cheap stock one that has better flow and doesn't clog up with snow, i will buy one. or do you sell just the fabric that you wrap your vents with?

ya the stocker is a turd by the looks of it. a cover might be needed

Just PM'd you my order, so a up for you.
Those blue on black look awesome, if all my riding gear was black instead of yellow, or if I needed new stuff I would have went with them instead of black. But didn't want to look like I just stole the sled when I ride it LOL!

Thanks JC... I love the white on the blue... Do you have a blue honeycomb hood vent I could see on that white hood? Can I mix and match like that? White side vents and a blue hood vent? hmmm.. I kinda like the sounds of that. And the new shock tower vent and XP intake vent. My 09 I think has vents on the airbox. I just got my sled the other day, so need to look more closely. But it looks like vents on the front of the airbox, so that intake vent might be real nice. hmmm.. decisions... Thanks again for the photos.

Jon, Very nice vents. I finally got back up to IP and was installing the vents and other goodies on my 08 & 09. Very nice product, good instructions and templates. I was a little concerned about the strength of the panels and hood after cutting them but I can see you did your homework on these things. After riveting everything on they are very sturdy and look sweet. I personally think that they improve the looks of the sled where some of the others I've seen look cheap and make the sled look cheap. Anyways thanks again for a very nice product. I sent you a PM and will get some pics posted soon.

I have found that drilling holes in corners of areas to be cut out then using a heat gun or (wifes blow drier) and fresh blade in a utility knife works the best and leaves the cleanest cut, and believe me I have tried everything.
I have had many people tell me that worked & looked better than other ways they had tried

I would use a dremmel
I started with the hot razor knife method which works great but takes a little time. Then I went into an after-market Dremmel tool kit and found a "fiberglass reinforced cutting wheel" that worked great. The standard carbon fiber cutting wheel just melts through the plactic and wears down too quickly. If you use a Dremmel be careful to keep the chuck over the piece that will be cutout and discarded. If that chuck hits the plastic it will mark it up in a heartbeat.
The vents themselves are the best quality of any vent kit out there. The quality of construction and materials are second too none. After the install these vents actually improve the looks of the body panels, IMHO. Very nice.

PS did you get the rivets yet
Idahodoo

I use the heat gun to heat up the panel (soften up the side panel) not the blade on the utility knife then it cuts like butter very quick and easy.

I hear people talk about other vents on the maket. I go onto their sites and look at the fit and finish of thier vents and it isn't even close. Look at how even and uniform that hood vent follows the shape of the hood lines. The color combinations between the rivets, mesh and frames give a ton of options too. That blue vent maked the white hood look very nice.
I haven't got the rivets yet but thanks for sending them.

But to keep with the theam of complaining I was short 14 rivits with my kit, but don't worry Jon instead of getting on here and whining about it I decided to take some rivits spray them black and get on with my vent installation.
Anyway to the top for a great product, and check out the sweet 154' Summit X on his homepage
