Trouble is the price!!! They are what $3600.00 cheaper across the border but BRP won't let us buy them there or they will void the warranty. We have complained to our dealer and BRP and both said give them two weeks to come up with something.

Guess we'll have to wait and see but don't pull your wallets out just yet.

I am a former customer of Gibbons motor toys and I will say that they were real helpful with the initial sale of my sled and Tamara in parts is very knowledgeable. The only problem I ever had was that the service manager at the time DM was very deceitful. I brought my sled in the have some service work done and I got a hefty bill for work that was not done. I took the machine to Martin equipment in Edmonton to have my suspitions verified and I was proved correct. I took the information to the manager and he agreed that there were some issues that couldnt be denied! But yet he still chose to support his manager and basically said to take my business elsewhere. That it would be better for all concerned? I was quite shocked by his decision but in all fairness to him, I guess he had to support his staff. Ironically, shortly after, there was an add in the paper that gibbons motor toys was looking for another service manager. Since then, that manager has moved to e&s in fort saskatchewan. I am not sure who the new service manager is but I will say that in the past thier service department sure didnt put the customer first. I am not an unresonable person and all I want is to get what I paid for. Since that time I have dealt exclusivly with Jerry Holtke at Martin equipment for my service work and I have never been happier!! They have the equipment and a very knowlegable crew there who knows what to do with the equipment. I know that these days it's hard to find qualified people to work on the new technollogy of these new machines but I still have a hard time having a young mechanic learn his trade while practicing on my 15 thousand dollar machine. Everyone has to learn somewhere but all I ask is that if they make a mistake, that they are honest and admit to it and learn from it.

Anyway, I just wanted to express my concern about gibbons motor toys. Unfortunatly, a few of my friends that I reffered there have also had problems with them but we have all pretty much gone to martin equipment. There price for the machine might be a bit more but the service is sure there when you need it. Just my 2 cents!!!
