I would be in with my dad. If you put it in the general section it would get alot more hits. revinmotion.gif

I think the second weekend in February would be a good choice for the date. What do you think Wileo?

I'm down!! live in Toronto, but have a place south of Kawagama lake. Keep us posted!

Second weekend in Feb would be good for me.
tdubbs
The second weekend in February is probably a pretty good bet as February is the most reliable month for riding around here...440 Dream and I have been talking about doing some planning and if anyone else is interested please PM me...Is there anyone that is going to need lodging???? I live close to deerhurst Resort which is right on the trail network here and offers decent rates (we could also look into reserving a block of rooms and getting a group rate for the ride) I am sure they would be very interested in hosting dootalkers......anyways PM me or 440 dream with questions...

I'm on Lake Muskoka, but can be to Port Sydney in 45 mins from my place. Where do you guys want to start from?
Beeton Boy
I have a cottage in Gravenhurst so I am good for lodging. You local guys know the trail system the best so you guys should plan the route. This is gonna be great!!!!!! right_on.gif

I can by in dorset/Port Sydney/bracebridge/gravenhurst in 1 hr by trailer.

Gravenhurst is a great staging area with the parking lot right there, but the trails out of there can be brutal. Maybe Scott at Muskoka Motion in Port Sydney will let us park in his lot? that is a great place to eat and the trails out of there are fantastic usually.

best to head north out of Port Sydney IMO. lots of trails to hit - can go up teh D trail to the seguin trail from sprucedale then to kearney, amybe the ice cabes and back down the algonquin trails to dorset that are fantastic usually - then run lake of bays from dorset back to north portage and take the D102B back to Port Sydney.

so many options, but if we pick a spot we can make the judgement based on conditions and grooming reports.

For the guys that want to trailer up, the gas station on Hwy 11 at Port Sydney is a good place to meet. Lots of parking and easy to get to.
