Full Version: Grand Marais 1/13,14,15
I will be in GM for these three days. I am going by myself so there is a lot of room. I have 10 beds and a couch and a chair and some dog beds (you will have to fight the labs for those) but in any case there is room, if you are a smoking hot chick (or your wife or GF is) you can sleep with me!!! So this is an open invite, I charge $20 a night just to cover wood so it is as cheap as you can get. Plus you can bring the sled inside to warm it up or tinker with it. I am betting the snow will be ok by then, if not I am still going but may just do some work or not, depends on what I feel like. PM me or call me at 616-886-0077. It is in GM, off H-58 just East of town about 1/4 mile on the water side of H-58. Look for the "do not pass" sign and the power pole with 6 red reflectors. Pray for snow and get up there. I will leave Fri afternoon, about 1 and get there at 7pm, with no trailer the weather does not matter, if you see a gray Excursion with plates SNOGOER blow past you try and keep up....no don't try, you will end up in the ditch because no one can drive like me in the snow and ice.....my cruise will not go below 70 no matter how much the roads are messed up.

It's the truth, over 200,000 miles of driving to the UP in the winter and I don't stop or slow down. I have passed Semis in the ditch because they were hogging the road, really made them mad but they had plenty of room to move over. I weigh 9000lbs loaded and sometimes 11,000 full of wood so I have the weight to take on anything on the road.

Mitch - I'll take that challege.. only because I too am riding the same rig - only when fully loaded I top out at 13k so you may have me on the uphills! (But watch out on the down side!!!)
