Just thought I'd Start this topic since there are threads on the other trail systems in Newfoundland, but not for my area. Although I am about an hour from the trails here, I do know they have a fair amount of snow and are rideable. I don't know if the groomer has started running yet, but I'm pretty sure it hasn't. Maybe if there are any other members from the Northern Penninsula, I think there's some from the St. Anthony area, they could add to the information here.

I would also like to add that although not on a groom trail, it is possible to reach the trails here by leaving Deer Lake and coming across the Mountains. The ride takes about 4 hours.

Recently went from Hawk's Bay, NF to harbour deep on the other side of the peninsula. The trail is groomed until you reach the mountains, after reaching 2000's it is flat going on the open hills until you reach Harbour deep. The ungroomed trail has signs to show you where to go, it is very easy to follow. Harbour deep is a beautiful place, I recomend this to anyone!
