DECENT!!! oh ya!! and it is still snowing strong!!

If I didn't have to work I would be out, but unfortunately my days and nights are booked until Friday! Saturday watch out.......

Just say YK going for a rip on his sled!
Yellowknife
Drove on Frame Lake and Around Long Lake and a couple of lakes beyond long lake. Lakes have minimal bare patches with enough snow for cooling the sliders and heat exchangers. Grassy trails/sandy bottomed trails are good - but rocky trails are in need of more snowfall.

No slush/overflow or open water.

Looks good for the start - hope the cold and snow keep coming!

Anyone want to ride tonight even just messing around on Frame or whatever?

Did you go up the river trail past Long Lake..you know the one where very year someone sinks a sled?

Two atv'ers were spotted driving from one end of Jackson lake to the other last weekend. Ice is still to thin for me though.

David, Kyle and myself went out last night. We went up the river trail past long up to the ruts you can see in my pic/thread on general forum. We also went towards martin and stopped short of the lake before martin, there's current in there and it was dark.

We ripped around on the ponds and stuff, it was great!

Well, It snowed all day again today and still snowing into the night (actually almost morning now!)

They are calling for another 10cm by thursday night smile.gif

But with all the weight of the snow the lakes are really turning to crap. Frame lake has developed alot of slush and long lake opened up in the bay sad.gif

Hopefully the temps start dropping again soon before the whole lake opens up!
